Momoiro Clover Z PV preview – Z Densetsu ~Owarinaki Kakumei~

The preview for the PV of Momoiro Clover Z’s next single, Z伝説~終わりなき革命 (Z Densetsu ~Owarinaki Kakumei~ –Z Legend ~Neverending Revolution~) has been released to Ustream and YouTube!

It’s exciting to have something of better quality to actually hear the new song, even if it is a short version and not very good quality video.

The PV is in the silly Momoiro Clover tradition.  The girls are in some pretty wacky sentai costumes (think Power Rangers):

Hoo boy...

There is a male announcer (probably my least favorite thing about the song), who introduces each girl.

They look better with the helmets off.

Kanako’s voice sounds a bit higher than I’m used to?  Her dimples remain omnipresent but I couldn’t get a decent screenshot of her close up.  The video was very blurry.

Spoiled Shiori is everyone's little sister!

They are shown in the sentai outfits and regular clothes for a few seconds. Each member sings a little line about themselves.

Err, kinda.  Ayaka can’t really come up with much to say other than that she is A~rin and an idol…

SO friggin cute, and easily the best vocals in the song. Yay yeaaaaaaaah!

Momoka can really sing!  She won’t lose to anyone!  She’s the show-stealer in this PV preview.  Or maybe I’m just biased?  Nah, she’s definitely the best.  <3

Reni gets electrocuted....?

Reni is pi-po-purple…  I prefer her voice in less manic songs though.

They really are adorable, even in the silly outfits.

They spend the rest of the PV dancing around and posing in their sentai outfits.  Their acrobatics are always enjoyable, I’m sure we will get to see more in the full version!

And when you thought they couldn’t get any weirder…

It might sound like I’m bashing them, but I’m really not.  I love every glorious, ridiculous second of this.  It harkens back to the days of “goofy” Hello! Project.  You know, like dancing in a bathroom-turned-disco in THE PEACE- era stuff –  Happy music, likeable and adorable idols, and unafraid to be silly in the name of entertainment.

Never change, Momoclo!
